PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated June 05, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Beam Photography, operated by Mythant LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our services, including our website at https://beam.pics and our photography and photo delivery services (the "Services").
In plain terms: We take your photo, deliver it to you, and that's about it. We don't sell your data, train AI on your photos, or do anything else creepy. The rest of this policy explains the details.
This Privacy Policy works together with our Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.

1. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Photographs. The core of our Services is photography. When we provide our photography services, we capture photographs that may include your image and likeness. These photographs are the primary personal information we handle.
Information you provide. When you use the Services, you may give us:
- your email address, if you choose to provide it (for example, to be notified when your album is ready, or to receive a download link or receipt);
- payment information, which is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor; and
- any message or information you send us, such as a question, a tip, or a takedown request.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site or interact with your album, we may automatically collect limited technical and usage information — such as basic device and browser details and how you interact with the Services, including when you view a photograph, which photographs you click, and whether you download or purchase. We collect this primarily in our own systems to operate and secure the Services, understand how they are used, and improve them. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- make your photographs available for you to view, download, or purchase;
- process payments and voluntary tips;
- send you download links, receipts, and service-related messages;
- display and promote our photography, including on the Site and our social media and marketing channels, consistent with the consent described in our Terms and Conditions;
- share photographs with the organizer or host of the event where they were taken, as described in our Terms and Conditions;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
- respond to your requests, including takedown and deletion requests; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We don't sell your photos — except to you. Selling you your own photo is the whole point of Beam, so of course we'll do that. What we won't do is sell or license your photos to outside parties for their own use — not to advertisers, data brokers, stock libraries, AI-training datasets, or anyone like them. The only people who ever handle your photos are us, the service providers who help us run Beam (such as our payment processor and hosting), and — where applicable — the organizer of the event where they were taken. We also don't sell your other personal information or use it to target ads to you. We do display our own photography to promote Beam (for example, on our social media), consistent with the consent described in our Terms and Conditions.
3. PHOTOGRAPHS AND YOUR LIKENESS
Because our Services are built around photographing people, your image and likeness are a central part of the information we process. We photograph either in public settings or at private events we have been invited or engaged to photograph. The basis on which we capture, use, display, share, and deliver these photographs — and how you can consent to or object to those uses — is described in detail in the "Photography and Likeness Consent" section of our Terms and Conditions. That section is an important companion to this Policy.
No facial recognition or AI. We don't run facial recognition, biometric identification, or any kind of face-matching or grouping on our photos, and we don't use them to train AI. Our purpose is to take photographs and deliver them to the people in them.
If you want a photograph of you removed, see "How to Remove or Delete a Photograph of You" below.
4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share information in these situations:
- Service providers. With third parties that help us operate the Services, such as our payment processor, hosting and storage providers, and email or messaging providers. These providers may access information only to perform services for us.
- Event organizers. We may share photographs taken at an event with that event's organizer or host, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
- Promotional display. We may display photographs publicly for portfolio and marketing purposes, consistent with the consent described in our Terms and Conditions.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect our rights or the rights and safety of others, or prevent fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, sale, financing, or transfer of all or part of our business.
5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We may use cookies and similar technologies on the Site to keep it functioning, remember your preferences, maintain security, and understand how the Site is used. The information this generates is used primarily in our own systems. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We keep personal information, including photographs, for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, operate and promote our business, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements, unless a shorter period is required by law or you make a valid deletion request. Photograph availability for download may vary by event. When we no longer have a legitimate need to keep information, we delete or anonymize it, or securely isolate it if immediate deletion is not feasible (for example, in backups).
7. MINORS
The Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 to purchase a photograph, leave a tip, or create any account.
We may photograph people of any age, including minors. A minor cannot give legally binding consent; consent for the use of a minor's likeness must come from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and we do not market to them. If you are a parent or guardian and want a photograph of your child removed, or you believe we have a photograph of a minor without appropriate consent, contact us at contact@mythant.com and we will review the request.
8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of other states or regions may have similar rights under their local laws.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@mythant.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place before withdrawal.
9. HOW TO REMOVE OR DELETE A PHOTOGRAPH OF YOU
If you appear in a photograph and want it removed or deleted, you can ask us to take it down. Email us at contact@mythant.com; including the album code, if you have one, helps us find it faster. Parents and guardians may make requests on behalf of a minor.
10. DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Services at your own risk and are responsible for keeping copies of any photographs you download.
11. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting a notice or contacting you directly. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
